My wife and I didn't know what to expect in the beginning, but overall we're satisfied with the overall experience we received for what we played. And our daughter, Gloria, as well as her friends, thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

- Fun Cocomelon soundtrack (and occasional surprise Baby Shark dance mix)
- Vending machine with drinks and snacks available
- Mostly friendly staff (see below for my gripe)
- Special shout out to the Armenian(?) gal who is so sweet and helpful.

To Know:
- Very limited parking (street and a small shared lot in the back down the side alley)
- Bring socks, though it sounds like you can buy some there
- Ball pit is very small so, when it's busy, you'll want to keep an eye on little ones so they don't get smushed
- The play tower's top slide goes really fast so little ones should be careful about tumbling out

Some personal gripes:
- Toys/accessories that are broken/dirty.
- Because they have so many stations, understandably a lot of the stuff for each station is scattered all over. Though I've been there days when there is a worker periodically checking and organizing the area.
- As to the mostly friendly staff, have been here multiple times and usually the people there are really great, but the last time the girl who checked us in (purple fringed gal) gave us an unsmiling, unwarranted attitude-filled interaction from the get-go. Literally I caught her mad-dogging us as I changed my nephew's shoes. Why???? Almost ruined the entire experience. Same girl basically ignored clients inside and stared at her phone the whole time. When we left, I said "Thank you" and she didn't even look up. And no lollipop that is usually given to kids as they leave. She was there the next time I went and the same sour face was present. She needs to go.

  Great spot to take young children in the valley! They have a good amount of space and they've utilized it pretty well. As far as activities for the kids, they've... read more managed to fit in a lot without overcrowding. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the sitting space. You can't see the kids from most of the tables, which I didn't like. The only other gripe was parking. After reading other reviews, apparently there's extra parking in the back, but it was a little bit of a struggle. Other than that, we liked it.The staff was nice and even though I think there were only 2 girls, they were on top of their stuff. I love that they require socks in the play space. They keep the whole place pretty clean and organized, and the amount of toys and activities are plentiful. My daughter had a blast and she didn't even get to the jungle gym part. Returned to my lil town today and sadly the service has declined since our last visit. We went about an hour and a half before closing and so it's understandable that it was a lot less organized than our initial visit. My husband and I had our friend with us so we brought her along assuming that like most other play spaces, the price is per child. They wanted to charge us double the price for a third adult to just sit in the seating area. It didn't make any sense. The girl was nice about it but didn't budge and told my husband he could sit in the outside seating by the shoes (and the trash can). It wasn't her fault, but I thought it was really poor customer service. Presumably the parents are supposed to supervise the children, but three kids got hurt while we were there and the extra staff they had, who I assumed were management, were sitting around on their phones. It just left a bad taste in my mouth, and there are so many other businesses that prioritize customer service over their bottom line.

Sadly, the places I compare it to literally cost about 1/3 of Lil Town so this is not worth the bang for your buck. I have done my research and basically live at kids birthday parties as a mom of three kids under 6 years old.

My Lil Town Photographer to take photos during the celebration: Consider this more of a person who recently bought a DSLR camera with no training who will take some pictures. Unfortunately, I have hired many photographers so my standards are high. It is nice to have someone to take pictures, but you will actually be better off with your personal friends sending you anything they take.

Your choice of custom theme: This is poorly worded. I sent them a picture of the theme I wanted, but it really just comes down to whatever plates and cups they can find on Amazon. This is what the owner told me. If you are going for a specific look, you need to hire your own graphic designer. You will not get what you see in the yelp images. The parents did all of the extra decor themselves. They basically provide 20 balloons, plates, cups, and tablecloth in characters that are easily found on Amazon and shipped quickly.
Laser Video Mapping of Your Chosen Theme on all walls. Because there really is no effort in creating a custom theme there was no "chosen theme" on walls. They do project random lights on the walls.
Decorative/themed table cloth & plates, hats and/or blowers: No hat and blowers provided
Party Host/Game Coordinator: No "game coordinator" or "hosting" going on. Someone will help you set up for 30 minutes before the party. (They may or may not be on the phone. My experience was highly unprofessional. They didn't greet us, introduce themselves, they mainly stay at the front desk on their phones until they are told to do something. The other people who come to clean up later in the night deserve praise.)

This is essentially not a coordinated activity. It is one of their own employees sitting in the salon waiting for a child to come in and she will play with them.
20 decorative goodie bags: They are not actually goodie bags. Kids get to choose one toy from their front desk booth.

1 free return open play pass for the birthday child and sibling(s): you're supposed to come back and have them check your name in the system. In reality, when we came back, the girl at the front desk didn't know this was part of the birthday package so instead of checking our name (they have seen my face enough), she checked to see if it was part of the birthday list. Facility is just poorly managed, the girls are not well trained and it is not their fault. the place is just unprofessional because of ownership. I feel bad for the girls who are doing their best but have been trained poorly.
Unlimited Access to 3 different Wall Climbing Challenges: What this means is, it is there and you must ask for it. No one is at the wall supervising so no one really knows it is available. I made a real effort to tell everyone at the party to do this, as it is usually an extra charge, but no one enjoyed this feature because it didn't look like anyone was there. 
Video Gaming Section with multiple gaming systems: Nothing was set up for this. Again, they have this but it is not announced or set up. Kids must solicit in their ignorance.
This list is essentially a list of things they have and can do, but everything must be procured yourself. The photos don't actually display how your party will look, you must do 90% of the work. Gratuity is added on, not included as stated. For $1499+tip, with 3 kids under 6, this place was more trouble than it was worth.

I maybe a little bias because I have been to Pretend City in OC. I personally think the stations are too close together which... read more is the reason the toys are never in the right area. Also this place has a really bad odor, you may want to look into kid friendly scents to plug in or spray from time to time. Lastly the parking is in the rear without an entrance. You have to walk through the ally to get into the building which isn't ideal with small children.
- also I think there should be an age/height requirement for the playground structure. I saw older kids trampling over the toddlers.

We decided to have my daughters 7 yr bday there. First off the price was great for a private party. They cover the kids food and drinks. You do need to bring food for the adults but this place allows you to bring in alcohol as well. So that already makes the kids party a lot better.

They took care of everything. The party was very well managed. They even supplied a valet service to help with parking. They did snow bubble time for the kids so it feels like it is snowing. To top it off they have indoor fireworks! Pics attached.

I will be recommending this place to everyone for kids birthdays. It was such a wonderful experience. They staff went above and beyond to make sure the kids had a blast and the parents were not stressed out. They even have a beauty salon section for the kids to get face painting and their nails done.

My only suggestion is to ask if you can pay more for a longer party. Two hours went by so fast it is worth paying for another hour if that is an option. Trust me.
